Exfoliating bar soap formulated to accelerate the elimination of dead skin cells. Cleanses and buffs away dead skin cells, restoring radiance with AHA skin smoothing agent, Glycolic Acid. The Lactic Acid safely acts by inhibition of the tyrosinase: it blocks the synthesis of coloured pigments. It ideally prepares your skin for FAIR & WHITE A.H.A-2 products and gives it suppleness, smoothness and a bright complexion. How to use: Form a rich lather between hands and apply to face and body as needed. In order to avoid dryness or irritation, be sure to leave 3-4 days in between exfoliating treatments. Too much exfoliation can dry and irritate the skin causing inflammation, leading to more dark spots especially, with ethnic skin. On opposite days and to prevent irritation, use IKB cleansing Bar Soap with Vitamin E. As for the body, it can tolerate exfoliating soap every other day. For concerns of skin discolorations, follow-up with AHA Lightening Cream. Cellular turnover slows down as we age giving the skin a dull appearance therefore, exfoliation is an important step to add to your daily skincare regimen, immediately improving skin’s texture. CAUTION: Do not exfoliate more than 2 times a week. Begin using gradually. AHA’s increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun therefore, follow-up with a minimum SPF 25 or higher during and after treatment daily, in order to avoid irritation or re-occurrence of pigmentation spots! Dark skins require particular attention because various factors can lead to an erratic melanin production (the pigments that colour your skin).
